Luminox was founded in 1989 in San Rafael, California, by Barry Cohen and Richard Timbo. This Swiss brand is known for its tritium technology, which provides continuous lighting even in low light conditions.

Its first major breakthrough came in 1992 with a watch designed specifically for the US Navy SEALs. Over time, it has collaborated with prestigious organizations such as the US Air Force, the New York Police Department, and the Singapore Air Force.
